No matter what your stage of life, whether your priority is to save and accumulate wealth, transition from work to retirement, or to manage the cost of aged care for a parent or family member, Pathways can help.

While retirement can be a wonderful and exciting time for most, it can also be difficult to navigate financially and to know who to turn to.

Pathways Financial Planning SA aims to remove the stress and confusion, by simplifying your financial situation to make it understandable and manageable for you over the long term.

We can help you to plan your retirement and work through superannuation and income strategies. Where relevant, we can ensure that you maximise your retirement income by assisting with complex Centrelink Pension entitlements.

Pathways also works with small business owners and salaried employees to reduce their tax liability, manage their debt, and ensure their earnings are adequately protected.

Rural clients can also benefit from our expertise. We can help those on the land put in place wealth protection strategies, through tailored personal risk insurance plans. We also advise on retirement strategies for farmers, including strategies for the use of proceeds from farm sales.

Rashele Debnar
Rashele DebnarDirector & Principal Financial Planner
In 2016, Rashele Debnar began her professional journey, laying the foundation for a rewarding career in financial planning. Her dedication has been evident throughout, reflected in her academic achievements – including graduating with honors in a Bachelor of Financial Planning and, more recently, completing her Master’s degree in the field.

Now a Certified Financial Planner® and an Accredited Aged Care Professional, Rashele continues to expand her professional expertise. She is soon to begin the process of becoming a Registered Life Planner, driven by a strong interest in creating bespoke advice that inspires meaningful behavioural change and supports clients in aligning their finances with their life goals.

Rashele’s path to success hasn’t come easily, and her lived experience has instilled in her a deep understanding of what it means to work hard to achieve your goals. This perspective gives her a grounded and compassionate insight into the challenges her clients face – whether it’s juggling family responsibilities, navigating financial setbacks, or planning for a more secure future. Her clients appreciate her empathy and the sense that she genuinely “gets it.”

Since stepping into the role of Principal Financial Planner following Chris’s retirement, Rashele has remained committed to delivering personalised, down-to-earth financial advice. She works with a wide range of clients – families, retirees, and those navigating aged care – offering guidance across areas such as wealth creation, retirement strategies, Centrelink matters, and overall financial wellbeing.

Rashele recognises that the financial landscape is constantly evolving, and she prioritises continual education to ensure her advice remains current, relevant, and forward-thinking. She also understands that financial planning is not one-size-fits-all. By focusing on personal connection and adaptability, Rashele ensures her clients receive advice in a way that suits them – whether that’s through face-to-face meetings or incorporating modern technology. Her clients value this human-centred, flexible approach.

Originally from Adelaide but now a well-established local, Rashele enjoys spending her downtime outdoors – exploring the Riverland on bushwalks with her dog or heading off on adventures with her children. She’s an avid geocacher and gardener, especially during the region’s beautiful autumn and spring seasons.

Supported by a dedicated team both onsite and remotely, Rashele remains committed to helping her clients feel confident and secure about their financial futures. She looks forward to continuing to support the community with thoughtful, practical advice that evolves alongside her clients’ lives.
