Pathways Financial Planning SA have a five-step approach to planning clients’ financial futures to ensure we are providing the highest quality service.
The first step is the discovery meeting
This meeting is at our cost, and it is an opportunity to get to know you and your financial goals. We use this time to discuss our services and the advice process.
The second step is research and analysis
If we both agree to continue, then we put in place a formal client engagement agreement. This enables us to collect more detailed information, and evaluate your financial possibilities. The research and analysis we undertake during this step forms the basis for our strategies and advice.
The recommendations phase is the third step
We host a meeting to present the strategies and recommendations contained in your own personalised financial plan.
The fourth step is to implement your plan
If you are happy with our recommendations, we will begin the process of implementing your plan. This may include starting new investment funds, closing old funds, liaising with current providers, and setting up new policies.
The final step is to monitor and review your plan
We recommend meeting at least once a year to review the progress of your new financial direction. You will be provided with reports and data, so you can observe how your tailored plan is guiding you to achieving your financial goals. Measuring the progress against your original goals, is the most important part of the financial planning process. We understand that our lives are constantly changing, so these reviews ensure that you remain on track to achieve your goals.
